Kathleen Rogan has been a Kingston resident since 2013. She has been active in health and fitness since the 1980s. The former certified fitness instructor is now an avid runner and enjoys utilizing the city parks. She advocates for athletes with disabilities and is an active member of Achilles International, an organization that provides guides for disabled athletes, allowing them to participate in main stream events. She is passionate about healthy living for all community members and is involved with Latinos Run and Latinas in Motion, two programs that encourage Latinos to stay active.
Kathleen is also a TDI certified therapy dog handler, with her shepherd mix, Natalia and they have volunteered together at JFK Elementary School and Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley Mary’s Avenue Campus. She also enjoys volunteering at the YMCA’s annual Kid’s Classic at Dietz Stadium.
Kathleen is a graduate of Burnt-Hills Ballston Lake High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from Skidmore College.
