y of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to once again be hosting Kingston’s Night Out. The event will be held on Friday, August 14th at Loughran Park in Kingston. Our last event was very successful and we were fortunate to have many community organizations involved. This year’s edition promises to be even better!
In keeping with the annual theme of increasing public awareness to the development of crime and drug prevention, the event is taking place with the cooperation of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, the Kingston Police Department, and other area law enforcement agencies. We would like this to be a true community event and are encouraging organizations throughout the city to take part in our “Night Out.” As always, there will be no cost to participate in the event, however donations are welcomed.
The Parks and Recreation Department will host a free BBQ throughout the event which will begin at 5:30 PM and conclude at 7:30 PM.
