Our purpose
The groups that make up the Travel Well Focus Team develop, implement and/or support policy, systems and environmental change by providing transportation agencies and the City of Kingston with tools and recommendations to develop a more complete system that fosters active transportation and healthy living.
What we are doing!
Two active groups make up our Travel Well efforts. We work on separate, but interconnected initiatives.
The Kingston Complete Streets Advisory Council advises the city on policy, environmental, systems change, current transportation projects, and transportation issues that the public brings to light. kingston-ny.gov/CompleteStreetsAdvisoryCouncil
The Kingston Greenline is a network of trails and complete streets that was created in collaboration with the Kingston Land Trust, the City of Kingston, and Ulster County.
