I would love to invite you to a special Eat Well Kingston meeting with a focus on brainstorming the evolution of our Kingston Eats/Harvest of the Month project, which was a healthy food encouragement campaign. In addition, Land to Learn, KCSD school staff, and the RVGA have a project called Farm Fresh Fridays that is also a veggie of the month program. I’m hoping to bring people together to brainstorm how to continue this work, as our capacity is declining. Please forward this invite to anyone that you think might be interested.

In 2026, we are meeting second Tuesdays, alternating between 6pm and 10am.

“Complete Streets” is a term used to describe ordinary city streets that are designed to encourage people of all ages and abilities, by any mode of transportation, to use them. The more than 86 miles of local roads within the City are some of the most heavily used public spaces in the City.
Kingston’s Common Council created the Complete Streets Advisory Council in late 2010. The group is charged with advising the City on ways Kingston can implement Complete Streets principles in its planning, design, and construction activities.
The Complete Streets Advisory Council’s agenda and notes can be found on the City’s website calendar: www.kingston-ny.gov.
The Council meets monthly on the second Wednesday, 4pm, in Conference Room 1, top floor of City Hall, 420 Broadway, Kingston, NY. Meetings can also be viewed on the City’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/c/CityofKingstonNY/videos.
