An advertising agency professional with more than 40 years’ experience across a variety of private sector and government sector clients, Troy Ellen Dixon has expertise in marketing and development efforts on behalf of for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations. She translates strategic vision into effective business-building initiatives, thoughtful marketing solutions and meaningful communication efforts. Her capabilities include business development, digital communications, direct marketing, event marketing, fundraising, promotions, multicultural marketing, and community relations. Troy Ellen holds a BA in History from the College of Arts and Sciences at Oberlin College.
In retirement, Troy Ellen is consulting with Radio Kingston to build their underwriting program, a unique opportunity for businesses in the greater Kingston area to reach and engage with WKNY’s community-minded listeners through targeted sponsorship messages. In turn, 100% of the proceeds from the underwriting program will fuel the Radio Kingston Community Fund, administered by Family of Woodstock.
Her commitment to the Kingston community is underscored by her active participation in the Kingston Emergency Food Collaborative (food sovereignty for all!) and Citizens for Local Power board membership.
