Please join us for a special presentation from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s Livestock & Natural Resources Educator, Kathryn Brignac: From Soil to Supper: Understanding Local Farming in Ulster County.
Kathryn will share what the 2022 Census of Agriculture tells us about Ulster County farms, emerging trends and opportunities in agriculture locally, current challenges farms are facing and how to eat farm fresh and support local farms. CCE has developed multiple resources to support consumers to find their nearby farms and save money on local food.
We’ll then keep that knowledge in mind as we review the City of Kingston’s upcoming Food Systems Plan draft!

The presentation will be recorded and put online at https://livewellkingston.org/focus-teams/presentations/ for those who cannot attend.
