Great news! The Ulster County Citizens Commission for Digital Inclusion is working to expand broadband (a high speed internet connection) to Ulster County residents through promoting the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) Affordable Connectivity Program. This program provides benefits to income eligible households so they can afford the broadband they need.

The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households in high cost areas. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.

For more information, scan the bar code above with your cell phone. You can also visit the FCC website for more details and qualification requirements.  English: https://www.fcc.gov/acp  Spanish: https://www.fcc.gov/programa-de-descuentos-para-internet-acp
