This free class will introduce you to the basics of soil science, and how using compost in the garden enriches the soil and makes any soil easier to work and cultivate. There are many benefits and uses of compost! Educators will also discuss how UCRRA makes its Grow Ulster Green Compost, which is for sale in bulk.

In this class, you will learn:

  • What is soil?
  • What is soil health?
  • How does compost improve soil health?
  • What are the benefits and ways to use compost?
  • How does UCRRA make it’s STA certified compost?

This seminar is offered as a WEBEX teleconference. Class size is limited and participants must pre-register.
