Join Scenic Hudson and Bike Friendly Kingston to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with a ride to Sojourner Truth State Park. The ride will start at the Rainbow Snake Dream Garden (85 Murray) at Rondout Gardens. Free bike tune-ups and a helmet giveaway will start at 3:00, with the ride beginning at 4:30.
Let’s Bike HV celebrates both National Bike Month and Mental Health Awareness Month. After all, biking is excellent exercise that can connect people to nature, and helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by lowering cortisol and producing more “feel good” endorphins. Plus: It’s fun!
